1.    Checklist for Move-Out Cleaning

Below explained are professional moving-out cleaning tips you can follow.

Kitchen

Stovetop: Scrape off any dirt with a stovetop cleaner and spray with baking soda over the surface, followed by a hydrochloric acid spray. Let it sit with a sponge and cool water for a few minutes before wiping it away clean.

Microwave Oven: Spray the inside of your oven, with a mixture made from equal parts of baking soda and water, and let it stay overnight. Start by rubbing away the paste with a wet cloth. The mixture will fizz up, thus making it easier to wipe it off.

Refrigerator: Spray both the inside and outside with a dilute solution made from equal parts of vinegar and water. Scrub it with a wet towel, then with a clean cloth, lastly dry the surface properly.

Counter: Fill a spray bottle with water and diluted white vinegar in equal parts, plus a few drops of your preferred essential oil.  Use this mixture to clean off your kitchen cabinets.

Sink: Wipe the sink down with the same solution you used for the countertops. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of baking soda onto the garbage disposal and 1 cup of white vinegar on top. Rinse with water as you switch on the garbage machine.

Bathroom

Toilet: Combine 1/2 tablespoon of vinegar and baking soda. Deposit the mixture into the toilet, and let it stay with a toilet brush for thirty min before brushing.

Sink: Sprinkle baking soda with a wet brush onto the sink before washing with cool water.

Mirrors: With a combination of 1 part vinegar and four parts water, clean down all mirrors and decorations.

Living or Open Spaces

Doors: Wipe all house doors with liquid detergent and a paper towel across the front and sides. Do not forget to use this antiseptic DIY spray with 3 cups of water, 1⁄2 cup of vinegar and 15 drops of lavender oil to scrub it clean

Windows: Spray the windows with a solution of 2 cups of water, 1⁄4 cup of vinegar, and a teaspoon of dish soap and water to extract dirt from the windows without causing any streaks. With a sponge, mop wipe the windows.

Carpets: Clean stains with a mixture of 1 part vinegar and two parts water from your carpet. Place a wet cloth over the stain, apply steam to your iron, iron for around 30 seconds on top of the cloth.

2. Checklist for Move-In Cleaning

Apart from implementing the professional move out cleaning services and tips, use these cleaning tips to move in a new home:

Kitchen

Stovetop and Fridge: Clear the furnace, refrigerator shelves and drawers. Soak them in a bathtub full of soapy water. Dry the pieces after about an hour, and put them back in place. Prevent potential odors after the fridge has been washed by placing a sheet of new or used coffee beans in the back. Change them every two weeks.

Dishwasher: Measure a cup of white vinegar into a washer-safe container and put it on your dishwasher’s top-shelf. Run one cycle through the dishwasher.

Bathroom

Toilet: Clean toilet covers. They’re a cheap way of ensuring a new, clean start.

Surfaces: Clean down all surfaces with an antibacterial spray, even medicine shelves.
